An excellent cabinet specimen of Spessartine displaying very sharp crystals (to 2.1cm across) with adamantine lustre and a deep pigeon blood red colouration, contrasting well against the bright white of the Albite Feldspar matrix. The crystals are well distributed across the specimen and are in excellent condition and display mirror bright striated prism faces. A top end Spessartine example.
