Description

A matrix of tightly packed columnar Hedenbergite crystals are richly invested with sharply crystallised dodecahedral crystals of translucent orange/tan Andradite. The crystals are of the best quality from this locality and the largest measures 1.7cm wide. One side of the specimen is nicely accented with some water-clear Quartz crystals (to 1.6cm), with the other side displaying attractive areas of parallel growth terminations of Hedenbergite.
