









A sparkling central elongate crystal of Hematite measures to 25mm. The crystal is rectangular in cross section, exhibiting chevron shaped hoppered growth on the prism faces, tapering to a pyramidal termination. The base of the specimen is made up of distinct octahedral Hematite crystals, pseudomorphing Magnetite, measuring to 15mm in size. Found at a locality in a National Park near Patagonia, this is a well balanced and sparkling display specimen.
