Description

Bladed dark blue crystals of Azurite with bright lustre sit upon a gossanous Limonite/Goethite matrix sprinkled with light green velvety Malachite crystals. The main Azurite crystals are clustered together creating a well balanced display. Accompanied by a beautiful old handwritten label from the Freiberg Mining Academy which likely pre-dates the 1920s.
