Description

Sparkling violet coloured spheroids of Strengite, an Iron Phosphate, richly grow to 5mm width in a cavity accompanied by very dark green spheroids of Rockbridgeite to 2mm diameter, in Goethite-Hematite matrix. Mineralogical Record Vol 20, no.5 has a short article on the mid 1980's find of Strengite specimens at this now closed Swedish Iron ore opencast location.
