An unusual specimen of Adamite from the Tsumeb Mine. The Adamite forms fine broad bladed light yellow crystals to 0.9cm, translucent with vitreous lustre. They are nicely aggregated over small translucent prismatic white Smithsonite crystals. The Smithsonite sits on a thin yellow-orange rind of the rare mineral Tsumcorite. All on a matrix of probable Chalcocite. This unusual specimen of Adamite also comes with a white Richard Barstow collection label.
