A large bright specimen of Pyrite on Barite from the Beihilife mine, Germany. The small octahedral Pyrite crystals selectively coat Barite crystals on the main display face of the specimen. The reverse of the specimen is completely covered by the Pyrite. The Barite crystals measure to 0.8cm, are colourless and mostly translucent, and are tabular in form. Displays well from all angles.
