Description

A rare specimen of Apophyllite from the Samson Mine, Germany. The Apophyllite forms excellent crystals to 1.4cm showing well developed prism and pyramid faces, with some development of a minor pinacoid face. The crystals richly encrust a white Calcite matrix. The colour is a lovely light pink, some crystals with water clear terminations. An excellent specimen of a hard to find mineral from the Samson Mine.
