Description

A large specimen of Sceptred Smoky Quartz from the Hallelujah Junction area, USA. The Sceptre is seen as a well defined sharp smoky crystal almost doubly terminated sitting on a black rod of Smoky Quartz. The 'doubly' terminated head of the sceptre is lustrous with gemmy to translucent areas. It also displays some crystal offsets and re-growths. The rod-like base of the sceptre has a dense black colour with a silky luster. Great form and lustre!
