Description

A now classic combination specimen of Calcite included by metallic grey acicular crystals of Boulangerite. The appearance of the specimen reminds us of two greats from the silent movie era in the 1920's - Laurel and Hardy. The Calcite forms two partly intergrown rounded cone-like structures to 6.3cm high. The cones are formed of plate-like Calcite crystals, and display a high luster. White to colourless crystals of Quartz are scattered over the Calcite cones, as single doubley terminated crystals, and as strings of crystals to almost 2cm long. The Calcite is heavily included by metallic grey minute needle crystal of the lead Sulfosalt Boulangerite. A unique funky and appealing display!
