The specimen is formed of massive Cryolite with well formed stepped crystals occuring on a concave face on the top of the specimen. The crystals are gemmy to translucent, and are partly overgrown by micro-crystals of secondary Cryolite and prismatic micro-crystals of Pachnolite, with partial covering of Fe-oxide. Tan coloured Siderite is spotted through the Cryolite specimen.
