A very rich thumbnail of Torbernite from Wheal Basset, a mine in the heart of the Cornish mining scene working the almost fabled Flat Lode, and closing in 1919. The Torbernite specimen we have to offer is a ferruginous matrix mostly encrusted in silvery reflective light green platy crystals of Torbernite to around 1.5mm. The underside of the specimen also has many crystals of Torbernite. A fine thumbnail of Torbernite from Wheal Basset.
