A stunning large hand sized specimen of Neptunite on Natrolite with Benitoite. The Neptunite forms literally hundreds of prismatic crystals richly investing the display face of the specimen. The sharp well terminated crystals to 1.3cm long have a high luster and typical black colour, some crystals display the odd fleck of red in sun light. A single 0.7cm light blue sharp crystal of Benitoite has formed on a raised ridge on the specimen with attendant crystals of Neptunite. Both of the minerals are aesthetically contrasted against the white Natrolite which coats the grey Crossite matrix. There are also two partly formed crystal of Djurleite almost completely replaced by Malachite to 0.3cm.
