A very rich crystal specimen of Bournonite from the famous Quiruvilca Mine, Peru. The well formed elongated crystals of Bournonite form a prominent display against the white Quartz and brassy Pyrite. The striated Bournonite crystals exhibit the typical metallic luster with a slight iridescence. Bright metallic yellow pyritohedral Pyrite crystals are largely clustered along one side of the specimen, with crystals to 2cm. There is some natural parting on some of the Bournonite; which does not detract from what is a rich and attractive specimen.
