A very rich specimen of Roselite on Dolomite from the famous Bou Azer mining area in Morocco. The Roselite forms lustrous deep pink sharp crystals to 0.3cm long. The majority of the Roselite crystals are doubly terminated with a distinctive bladed habit. Green spherulites of probable Conichalcite are scattered amongst the Roselite crystals, with spherulites of red-brown Goethite. A prominent glassy doubly terminated crystal of Calcite is apparent, with other scattered elongate crystals present in the cavity. The matrix is a pinkish Dolomite lining a cavity in light grey rock. Rich!
