A Native Gold from the limited find of wire form crystallisation at the El Infierno Mine, Venezuela. A great specimen with convoluted swells of intergrown rope-like wires to several mm width. Elongated voids add to the drama which once held Quartz. The pleasing bright yellow Gold with metallic lustre has a net weight of 6.6g. Wires are one of the rarest forms of Gold crystallisation, and this is a superb example with great wire development and flowing form. This deposit is now worked out.
