A curved looping 2mm wide wire of bright yellow Native Gold sits well on a curved flowing Gold body. Wires are a rare form of Gold crystallisation, and this specimen has excellent development, and a really attractive flow. The lustrous golden specimen has several elongate hollow voids from where the Gold grew around Quartz, and is still associated with some white vein Quartz. The specimen comes from the El Infierno Mine, Venezuela, well known for its production of Gold wires, but now worked out. The net weight of the specimen is 4.5g.
