A great specimen of Native Gold from the El Infierno Mine, Venezuela. The Gold forms compact curved and striated forms of wire crystallisation, terminating in short wire prongs, with an overall boat or dish-like appearance. Negative impressions of Quartz crystals can be seen on the 'top'. The specimen has a bright metallic light golden colour, with a net weight of 2.5g. This location is now worked out, but produced some of the world's best Gold wires - the rarer form of Gold crystallisation.
