An exceptional Azurite crystal specimen from the one and only Tsumeb Mine. The Azurite forms a neurologically entertaining specimen, with many attributes. It is essentially two crystals in a V formation with Malachite, but the specimen is more than the culmination of its parts. The chisel terminated Azurite crystals measure to 4.9cm tall, displaying extensive parallel growth and off sets. The parallel forms have triangular reliefs on the major crystal faces. The lustrous Azurite crystals have a deep royal blue colour with internal electric blue reflections. It is associated with small botryoidal areas of green Malachite, and biscuit coloured rhombs of Dolomite. A great specimen of Azurite from Tsumeb.
