An unusual formation of Smithsonite from the Tsumeb Mine. The Smithsonite specimen displays successive parallel layers of intergrown rhombic micro-crystals, forming a rippled curtain like appearance. The sparkling reflective luster is very noticeable on the specimen, with a pleasing pastel green colouration. Here and there are rounded clusters of black contrasting Mn-oxide, also overgrown by Smithsonite. A fantastic unusually formed Smithsonite from Tsumeb.
