A very rich example of the secondary Copper Sulphate mineral Langite. The specimen has superb coverage with beautiful turquoise blue to deeper sea green colour, with a sparkling lustre. The Langite forms tiny crystals less than 1mm in size to clusters of platy crystals. This specimen is from a classic Cornish locality, Fowey Consols, which was mined in the mid 1800s, and Cornish Langites are rare from these older mines.
