Description

Gold can be seen in a few places to (3mm approx) on a ferruginous Quartz matrix. Good locality example from one of the early Ural Gold prospects, which is accompanied by an old hand written labels from the S. Ashmead collection. This collection formed part of the mineral collection acquired from the Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences.
