Description

This specimen has a concentrated area of hexagonal, prismatic, barrel shaped crystals of Willemite. The lustrous transparent crystals measure to 5mm across and display a zonation made up of a lemon-yellow core, through green, to a faint blue in the outside zone. There is no damage to the crystals. A great example of this zinc silicate and contrasts well against the earlier generation brown Willemite which covers the matrix.
