An impressive example of this rare Lead rich variety of Aragonite from Tsumeb, associated with Mimetite. The Tarnowitzite crystals are opaque to translucent milky white and have a vitreous to waxy lustre. To the side and rear of the specimen the crystals doubly terminate to size of 2.7cm tip to tip. Interestingly this specimen is associated with tan coloured Mimetite in the form of elongate prisms to 6mm and more stubby prismatic crystals of the same mineral. An excellent, large cabinet Tsumeb specimen.
