As with all Lapis magazines, even if you don’t read German, these are great additions for the beautiful photos alone!

Cornwall is the only landscape where active mining was carried out not only on the coast but even under the sea floor: As early as 1774, miners in the Botallack Mine developed the legendary Crown’s & Hazard Lodes as “submarine mining” for tin and copper to win. Magnificent, intensely colored copper minerals, grainy copper gravel, “nail head” chalkosine and tin stone, zonary siderites and beautiful fluorites are unmistakable trademarks of the entire region, which extends all the way to the southern part of the county of Devon.
