Three volumes – these volumes from 1906 second edition by Chamberlin and Salisbury have been reprinted over the years -cloth – good condition – lots of illustrations and maps – ex. Stan Alexander (well known collector in the 60’s and 70’s) – they still hold up as a solid ‘course’ in geology.- the authors were high ranking with the U. S. Geological Survey – shows only slight rubbing on the covers – signature inside is that of ‘Elizabeth F. Burnell 1924’ (just a guess but not confirmed that she might be the ornithologist from the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles). – Dona
