This iris agate has a hint of tan in it. Iris agates are translucent – first photo shows the agate backlit by the sun while second photo shows it under the studio light.

This Iris agate is from an outcrop near the junction of Grizzly Peak Blvd. and Fish Ranch Road in Berkeley, California.
