I love this little book…..think about it: had gold not been discovered in California the west would most likely look entirely different. The book is by T. J. Schoonover. Cloth – lst edition – slight scuffing on back and spine but otherwise in beautiful condition. Wonderful California history. and wonderful drawings – it is a great read about one of the most important individuals of California history. A visit to Sutter’s Fort in Sacramento worth a trip. Sutter died in 1880 and is buried at Lititz Moravian Cemetery in Pennsylvania (I always stop by to say hello)……yes, I’m weird. – Dona
