A gemmy green Tourmaline is embraced by slightly Smoky Quartz crystals from Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Tourmaline crystal measures 5.7cm with bright luster, striations along the length and a multi-faceted termination. The color ranges from bluish green to yellowish green, and is bright and gemmy creating a very pretty specimen. The sharp Quartz crystals are interesting in themselves – partly gemmy and partly milky with concentrations of the smokiness in the step growth crystals. The Quartz has been removed in places to reveal the Tourmaline.
